This award is open to Architects, Designers, Organisations, Individuals, Owners and other Building Professionals that have delivered a new build, refurbishment or redevelopment of a residential project delivering on the category criteria since 2008. Affordable Living is more than the financial cost of living. Affordable living incorporates the way in which we live, the size and type of housing we choose, the resources we use and how we move around. It reflects our relationship with the environment and the way in which neighbourhoods evolve and function, and it relies on a strong local economy.

Open to not for profit groups across both the Sunshine Coast Regional Community and Moreton Bay Regional Community who have contributed to the health of our local waterways.

Open to Sunshine Coast Artists, Project Managers and Textiles Businesses who demonstrate excellence in sustainable practice, including environmental and social sensitivity (expanded in 2013 to include the textiles industry).

Public nomination of sustainability champions of 10 years or more (nominations considered and decided by suitably qualified panel).
